MALCARACTER is a vineyard project in the Ribera del Duero, with no other aim than to endeavour to return to the origins of Castilian vinegrowing. The name is a tribute to the Castilian temperament.

The harvest is manual, the fermentation is spontaneous, and it is carried out with indigenous yeasts. The wines are elaborated following the most traditional processes and handmade methods and are aged in oak barrels.
MALCARACTER is a clear example of how Tempranillo can be articulated in Ribera del Duero, without airs and graces. It is a tribute to the unknown Castilian winegrower of centuries past and to his character, which is something we are proud of in this project.
